Utrecht University is located in Utrecht in the Netherlands and is one of the oldest universities in the country. The university consists of seven faculties including humanities; social and behavioural sciences; law, economics and governance; geosciences; medicine; veterinary medicine and science. There are 49 bachelor's programmes and 147 master's programmes available. Among these there are six English-taught bachelor's programmes and more than 90 English-taught master's programmes. The university counts 12 Nobel Prize laureates and 19 Spinoza Prize laureates as part of the alumni and faculty. Utrecht University collaborates with a number of other universities around the world such as the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, and the University of Toronto. There are a number of student associations at the university and there is also a cultural centre which provides plenty of opportunities to join in with arts and creative workshops. There is also a sports centre for students.
