The University of Texas at Dallas’ (UTD) origins go back to the 1960s. The university islocated in Richardson, Texas. The university offers over 140 undergraduate and graduate programmes, plus professional certificates and fast-track programmes, preparing its graduates for leadership roles in science, engineering, business, research, the arts, government and the global community. UTD offers students and staff opportunities for both study and work in countries all over the world, including the UK, France and Japan. There is a range of athletics, recreation and cultural activities to enjoy on campus. There are several intercollegiate sports teams at the university including volleyball, basketball and more. Students can play intramural sports in the university’s recreation facilities such as the swimming pool and climbing wall. There’s various student media outlets for students to get involved with, as well as a variety of student organisations such as the artificial intelligence society, entrepreneurship club, geology club and maths club among others.
