University of California, San Francisco

The University of California, San Francisco is part of the University of California system. 

It is the only university in the system that is dedicated to teaching and research in the health sciences, and graduate and professional education. 

There are four schools at the university including dentistry, medicine, nursing and pharmacy. It also offers a Global Health Science programme. The university offers 20 PhD programmes and 13 master's programmes. 

Students and postdoctoral at the scholars come form 94 countries. 

The university works with a range of hospitals and health clinics in the Bay Area including the Benioff Children's Hospital and primary care and specialisty clinics. 

Some six Nobel Prize winners are affiliated to the institution.
